ئاوسانی قاچ و پێ (ئیدێما)
An abnormal build-up of fluid in the tissues that makes the area swell.
Swelling is most often seen in the feet, legs and ankles because extra fluid collects in the body. It can be linked to standing a lot, or to problems with the kidneys, liver and heart. Raising the legs while resting helps reduce the swelling. If only one leg is swollen and there is pain and redness, or if there is shortness of breath, see a doctor urgently.
«After a long trip he felt his shoes had become tight because of the swelling in his legs.»
