A physical and chemical test of a urine sample to find infection.
The urine test helps the doctor find urinary tract infection, kidney stones and signs of diabetes. In this test, the presence of white cells, red cells and protein in the urine is assessed. The sample must be collected cleanly so the result is accurate.
