This page explains what happens if Diazepam and Sertraline are taken together, according to official sources.
Delayed diazepam clearance and potentiated sedation
Sertraline can weakly inhibit CYP2C19/CYP3A4 clearance of diazepam, resulting in prolonged sedation and psychomotor slowing.
Administer diazepam at lowest effective dosage, preferably at bedtime. Avoid driving or hazardous machinery during the initial treatment phase.
