What
Meals and fasting
Why
This medicine can drop your blood sugar too low if you eat less or later than usual.
What to do
  • Don't skip meals.
  • Fasting, including Ramadan, only with a plan from your doctor.
  • Carry something sweet in case your blood sugar goes low.
  • If you feel shaky, sweaty or confused, eat or drink something sugary straight away. If someone is unconscious or cannot swallow, give nothing by mouth and call 122.
